What we collect

We collect what you enter when you fill in a form on this site:

Contact and inquiry forms, including home value requests, questions about a community and joining our team: your name, email address and phone number, a property address if the form asks for one, your message, which form you used and the page you sent it from. A question about a home or a showing request also records that home’s details, such as its address and MLS number, and the date and time you’d like to see it.
Magazine sign-up: your name and email address, and your phone number, city and state if you give them.
Reviews: your name, your role (for example, buyer or seller), your rating, your review and the agent you worked with.

Leslie Wells Realty records what you send through this site’s forms. It’s kept in the website’s lead records and in our contact management (CRM) system, which runs on this website.

This site doesn’t take payments or ask for financial account numbers.

How we use your information

To answer your questions and help with your real estate plans.
To send you what you asked for, such as the magazine or emails about new listings.
To communicate with you. Any contact information you give us, including your name, email address, phone number and mailing address, may be used to contact you by email, phone call, text message or mail, for marketing, for general conversation or for other purposes, such as following up on your inquiry or telling you about homes, the market and our services.
To publish your review. Our staff read every review before it’s posted, and an approved review shows your name, role, rating and review on this site.
To keep this site working and to protect it from spam and misuse.

Stopping marketing messages

You can ask us to stop sending you marketing messages at any time: reply to one of our emails and ask us to stop, use the unsubscribe link where one is provided, reply STOP to a text message, or email info@lesliewellsrealty.com or call (941) 776-5571. We’ll honor your request. We may still contact you about a transaction or request you’re involved in.

Who we share it with

Our agents and office staff, so they can help you.
Companies that run parts of this website and our email for us, such as our web host and email service.
IDX Broker, which provides the home search on listings.lesliewellsrealty.com. What you send through this website’s forms isn’t sent to IDX Broker, and sending a form doesn’t set up a home-search account for you. If you’d like one, to save homes and searches or get listing alerts, you can create it yourself on our home search pages. Forms on those pages, and accounts, searches and saved homes there, are handled by IDX Broker under its own privacy policy.
Others involved in a real estate transaction, such as a lender or title company, when you ask us to connect you or your transaction needs it.
Anyone we’re required by law to share it with.

Cookies and other services

This website doesn’t use advertising cookies. It saves a few preferences in your own browser: whether you’ve closed the magazine sign-up window, whether you paused the homepage video, your progress on checklists, and any settings you choose in the accessibility menu, such as larger text or higher contrast. These stay on your device and aren’t sent to us. Staff who sign in to manage the site use WordPress’s sign-in cookies

Some parts of the site load from other companies, which can see your device’s IP address when they send content to your browser: fonts from Google Fonts, home search and listing displays from IDX Broker (which may use its own cookies), the accessibility menu from UserWay (which may use its own cookies and storage, under its own privacy policy), and some images and video from content delivery networks. Links to other websites, such as our social media pages and the magazine’s website, are
covered by those sites’ own policies.

We don’t currently use website analytics. If we add a tool such as Google Analytics, we’ll update this policy.

How long we keep it

We keep your inquiries, sign-ups and reviews until they’re no longer needed, or until you ask us to delete them. That includes copies of earlier inquiries that were also recorded in IDX Broker’s lead system.

How we protect it

Information you send through this site travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and is stored in the website’s admin area, in its lead records and contact management system, which only our staff can sign in to. No website is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information you’ve given us, or to stop contacting you. To ask, email info@lesliewellsrealty.com or call (941) 776-5571.

Children

This website isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
