Leslie Wells has worked in real estate since 1976. In 2001, she founded Leslie Wells Realty, an independent brokerage based in Ellenton, and she still leads it. Parrish has been Leslie’s home since 1988. She helped develop FoxBrook there, and her board service has ranged from Little League to banking. Each month, the brokerage’s magazine, One Community • One Connection, shares local stories, events, and development news from the communities she serves.

Fourth of July fireworks on the Manatee River

Fourth of July fireworks over the Manatee River between the Green Bridge and the DeSoto Bridge, held in 2024, 2025, and 2026 by the cities of Bradenton and Palmetto (with Manatee County in 2025 and 2026). You can watch from the Riverwalk and Rossi Park in Bradenton or Riverside Park in Palmetto. No date for 2027 has been announced.
