About Legacy Preserve
Legacy Preserve is a 614-acre neighborhood in eastern Parrish, off North Rye Road north of Upper Manatee River Road. Kolter is the developer and D.R. Horton is the only builder, selling plans of about 1,500 to 4,000 square feet from its Express, Tradition, and Freedom series. County records show the first homes finished in 2025. The land is part of the county’s Rye Ranch zoning approval and its first plat was recorded as Rye Ranch Phase IIA, IIB, and IIC, but the Rye Ranch developer says D.R. Horton is not a Rye Ranch builder, and the two are marketed separately. County site plans for later phases total 1,324 homes. D.R. Horton says the first amenity center, with a clubhouse, pool, fitness center, playground, and dog park, is under construction. Legacy Preserve has an HOA and is in the Northlake Stewardship District.
