Bean Point is the northern tip of Anna Maria Island, in the City of Anna Maria. Swimming is not recommended: there are no lifeguards, and the city posts signs warning of dangerous currents. The dry sand above the waterline is private, so reach the beach from the public beach access points. The city's visitor page has its beach and parking rules.
