Fort De Soto Park is a Pinellas County park, outside Manatee County, at 3500 Pinellas Bayway South near Tierra Verde, with beaches, the county's only dog park with a dog beach, and a historic fort on the National Register. The far end of the bay pier is closed for hurricane repairs, all but one of the boat ramp's floating docks are out of service while new docks are built (the county expects them all back by late December 2026), and the park roads and trail are being repaved into early 2027, so check the county's page before you go.
