About The Palms of Cortez
The Palms of Cortez is a condominium community of 450 units at 4802 51st Street West, just south of Cortez Road West inside the City of Bradenton. County records show all of its buildings were finished in 2002, with units of about 750 to 1,290 square feet in six sizes. Business Observer reported in April 2005 that an Indiana developer had bought the property, then a 450-unit apartment complex called the Columns at Cortez, and planned to convert it to condominiums named the Palms of Cortez. The condominium declaration is recorded in Official Records Book 2038, and county sales records show the first individual unit sales in late 2005. The common area of about 37 acres includes a pool, a tennis court, and two recreation buildings, per the Property Appraiser. The community has a condominium association and no CDD.
