About Desoto Square Villas
Desoto Square Villas is a condominium community in South Bradenton, on the north side of 301 Boulevard West across from the DeSoto Square mall property, in unincorporated Manatee County. County records list 247 units in three sections recorded from 1978 to 1981 on about 21 acres: Phase I with 51 units, Phase II with 66, and a third section recorded as Phase III Woodpark with 130. The units were built from 1978 to 1981 and range from about 720 to 1,140 square feet, most with two bedrooms. The Property Appraiser records a swimming pool on the Phase I common area. Desoto Square Villas Owners Association was on Florida’s registry of housing for older persons (55+) from 2001 through its final 2020 list. There is no CDD.
