About Lakewood Ranch Country Club
Lakewood Ranch Country Club is one of the original Phase I villages of Lakewood Ranch, in Manatee County north of University Parkway and east of Main Street. It is made up of Country Club North, Country Club South, and Country Club West, all behind gatehouses. Homes are single-family houses and condominiums; the HOA manual lists about 40 neighborhoods in North and South, seven of them condominiums and 14 of them maintenance-free neighborhoods with shared services. The village surrounds the private Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club, owned by Heritage Golf Group, which has 72 holes on four courses, three clubhouses, 20 clay tennis courts, 20 pickleball courts, and a fitness center; the club sells its own memberships. North and South share an HOA formed in 1996, West has its own, and the area is served by CDDs 2, 5, and 6.
