Chateau Village Co-op is a manufactured-home cooperative in South Bradenton, on the south side of 53rd Avenue West about 0.4 mile east of 14th Street West (US 41), in unincorporated Manatee County. County records show a 40-acre cooperative recorded in 2000 with 262 home sites, about 240 of them holding manufactured homes, mostly double-wides built from 1970 to 1977 of about 700 to 1,300 square feet. Chateau Village Cooperative, Inc. owns a 10-acre common parcel at 612 53rd Avenue West with a club building of about 4,600 square feet and a swimming pool. The cooperative was on Florida’s registry of housing for older persons (55+) from 2001 through its final 2020 list. There is no CDD.
